I just bought a 2004 Disco 2, approx 88,000 miles. #1 thing I noticed were all the bits underneath were in need of repair. So I replaced: 4 Ball Joints (Had to pull axles out for this, thus removing the wheel speed sensors) Terra Firma Drag Link, Track Bar. Terra Firma Medium duty shocks and springs front and rear (creating an inch or more lift)

Document the problems with the car and any work that has been done on it since you’ve owned it and take them to JLR with a request that they advise you on what work they plan to do to fix the problems.
