It would be a good time to learn how to do some maintenance on the car yourself, such as oil change, filters, spark plugs etc. You'll then have tools to be able to do it going forward, saving you money. Continental timing belt kit is £100, labour depends on garage but should be able to replace in about 3 hours.
I am seriously considering getting a Grande Punto for my next car however I'm getting a bit confused about the numerous 'versions' of the car. There seems to be the Active, Dynamic, Eleganza and various sport suffix models. I'm currently looking at the 1.4 Dynamic Sport but I don't know what jump up this actually is from the Dynamic (if at all).
It was good pre chip. After - its something else. We also cant really compare 2 tons of Audi A4 (or Alfa 156) with a Punto HGT even if the engines do make nominally the same power. Dont get me wrong, the HGT sounds amazing above 4000rpm (and not bad below) and there's another power kick at about 6000 so its nice to use.
Jtowers123 submitted a new vehicle: My first car! This is my first car! It's a Fiat Punto Grande Sporting 1.4 16V! I'm 17- nearly 18, so I would like to know some advice on how to make it look nicer, make it faster and increase the whole performance! Any tips and advice would be fantastic
10. Points. 2. Jan 2, 2016. #3. 3 Broken gear selector cable. If you (like me) are lucky, one of the gear selector cables will snap while driving. This is particularly hilarious on a bypass road at 80km/h at 4:30pm on a Friday. So you call up the dealer and give them the part number for one of the cables. snvunk. 79 450 323 322 10 26 198 61 119
